Welcome to Seedworld Australia

Welcome to Autumn 2012.We are having a run of wet weather. This makes seed collection and extraction difficult. We have many species on order and we will be ready to go when the weather improves. In the meantime we have been busy with general maintenance of our seed collection and cleaning equipment.

AQIS In now known as DAFF and despite the name change they are still in the same government agency. This agency now has a profit making motive for the services it provides. We can only lodge our disgust and keep our fingers crossed that with the upcoming change of government this current policy can be revoked. The costs for manual phytosanitary certificates are an outrage. It will now cost $285 for a shipment of over 10kg.We will be forced to absorb these costs and try to keep our export customers.

On a brighter note we continue to have increased local sales. We have had an increase of more than 50% for the same period in 2011.Much of this can be attributed to our web site and the efforts of the team at Datawave.Thank you to Luke and Nick for their support.

We would like to remind our customers that we will be releasing a new price list in July 2012.Price increases will be kept to a minimum but in view of increased fuel and electricity costs we will have little option but to increase prices in general.

I look forward to being of service with any seed requirements you may have.

Best regards,
Gary Bridge
